Dr. Mark Jacobson will be covering the next generation regenerative therapy beyond Stem Cells, Regenerative Protein Array (RPA.)  RPA is an acellular, non-biologic therapy that is derived from pristine placentas via a 30-day incubation period, is exempt from 21 CFR 1271, PHSA 351/361 and is considered a nutraceutical or DESI product by the FDA.  Containing over 320 proteins from the meso (MSK), endo (soft tissue/organ), and ecto (brain/nerve) layers of the placenta, Dr. Jacobson has personally seen the notable clinical outcomes in his practice and will be highlighting case studies from his spinal, joint, and auto-immune clinical observations.

About the Speaker: Dr. Mark D. Jacobson serves as the CEO, Medical Director, and founder of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics, located in Lady Lake, Florida. With decades of expertise in joint, vascular, and spine interventions, he holds Board Certifications in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.  Dr. Jacobson earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Following this, he completed a General Surgery internship at NC Baptist Hospital, also affiliated with Wake Forest University. His Diagnostic Radiology residency took place at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, and he later pursued a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Pittsburgh Vascular Institute. He holds memberships in several prominent organizations, including the Florida Medical Society, Radiology Business Management Association, Society of Interventional Radiology, and the American College of Radiology. Additionally, he is a charter member of the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society. Since 2016, the University of Florida’s Division of Interventional Radiology has selected Dr. Jacobson and his center as a model independent residency training program for Interventional Radiology Fellows. His dedication to education has earned him multiple “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” awards.
